All are welcome: We welcome children and adults in worship, families, singles, from all backgrounds and neighborhoods. Christ the King is handicapped accessible, and offers nursery care for the very young.
The themes in worship: Holy Communion Worship Service includes an emphasis on each season of the church year, in readings and in song. In the summer we explore how we grow in faith, hearing stories about Jesus’ teaching and ministry. Many times we will hear about the “kingdom of heaven.”
The people’s action in worship: We gather in God’s name. We hear God’s Word, yearning to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ through Biblical proclamation and preaching. We pray for the world and our community in need. We eat the meal of forgiveness and new life in bread and wine, welcoming Christ’s presence in communion. And we are sent to love and serve our neighbor.
Greeting one another following worship: Each Sunday includes a time of fellowship following our worship.
